often say that they’re apathetic to Formula 1 since it doesn’t translate to the
real world. Looking to change
that point of view is Renault with the Twizy Sport F1 concept. Gathering parts
from various single-seaters, the car is powered by a 17 hp electric motor.
That’s
not the exciting part though because there’s an 80 hp KERS unit at the back
seat, the same one used in the real F1 cars, to propel you to crazy speeds. All
the hallmarks of a real racer are there too, like the front splitter, F1 side
mirrors and a single brake lamp at the rear. This could be the best go-kart you
can ever have, though we’ll be waiting to see if it goes to production.
