2016
Honda CB500F
When the Honda CB500F
first debuted, it was a welcomed addition to Honda’s lineup, as the Japanese
brand was really filling out its 500 cc offerings, but the bike itself was
hardly something to get excited about, especially in the looks department.
That seems to have
changed now, with the release of the 2016 Honda CB500F at the EICMA show in
Milan, as the street “standard” is looking a lot more aggressive and edgy with
its new haircut.
Things are still a bit
light in the features department though, with the big changes for 2016 being
the addition of LED lights (front and back), and shortened muffler (for a
better exhaust note), a larger fuel tank with a hinged cap, and forks with
adjustable preload.
Other changes include
an adjustable front brake lever, aluminum passenger foot pegs, an updated
transmission, and a “wave”-style ignition key.
