2016
MV Agusta Brutale 800
At
the 2015 EICMA motor show, we can see a new, beautifully redesigned and reworked MV Agusta Brutale 800
naked.
The
2016 MV Agusta Brutale 800 comes with brand new reworked design that features
completely new bodywork that is sharper and more aggressive than the outgoing
model. There is a new steel trellis frame that has been introduced to improve handling.
A new single-sided swingarm extends the wheelbase by 20 mm improving ridability
while the new bike gets a slightly bigger fuel tank that now stores 16.5 litres of fuel.
The engine now has a new counter-rotating crankshaft to meet Euro 4
emission standards. While the peak power output has gone down to 116 bhp, the
torque has increased to 83 Nm, with more than 90% of it available from as low
as 3,800 rpm. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 features a new quick-shiftier
that can be used for clutch-less up shifts as well as downshifts. The new
motorcycle also gets a new fully hydraulic slipper clutch and multi-map
ride-by-wire system with 8 levels of traction control. Prices and availability
of the new model is yet to be announced by the company.
