Hyundai
Tucson Adventuremobile
Southern
California tuner John Pangilinan has created a one-off Hyundai Tucson for 2015
SEMA Show – Hyundai Tucson Adventuremobile.
The
exterior of the Tucson has been beefed up for the occasional weekend excursion.
The body gets Aries bull bar and side steps, BASF Army Green paint by Strasse
Sport, Treeline Tamarack Constellation Gen2 Roof-Tent (with room for 2 people)
and Goal Zero Nomad 20 Solar Panel that will provide power for all of their
accessories. The off-road character is provided by 1.5-inch suspension lift kit
and Semi-Gloss Black colored Rays Gram Lights 57DR wheels shod with Toyo Open
Country A/T II tires.
The
interior features custom leather upholstery by Katzkin, car audio system built
by BP Auto Sound, interior lighting by VLED and custom army green seat belts by
Seat Belt Planet among many others. Powertrain modifications include AEM
intake, AEM Charge Pipe Kit, Magnaflow exhaust and Lucas Oil.
Designed with the
weekend adventurer in mind, the Tucson was the perfect platform for an
‘Adventuremobile’. The build blends performance with the excitement of the great
outdoors, without sacrificing daily usability. The vehicle promotes
exploration, making it ideal for the daily commute, weekend excursions, and the
occasional road trip.”
