Kia
Forte Koup Mud Bogger
Representing
the adventurous American South “and the inexplicable joy of getting dirty on
four wheels” is the Forte Koup Mud Bogger, possibly the wildest of the six
custom concepts.
The one-of-a-kind Koup was given a
generous four-inch body and suspension lift along with meaty 28-inch off-road tires. Obviously,
some modifications to the fenders and side skirts were needed to accommodate
the massive wheel and tire combo, with custom riveted fender flares being
added.
The
Forte Koup Mud Bogger has a stripped-down interior where the carpet has been
removed and the entire floor is lined with Line-X protective coating. The stock
seats of the Forte Koup have been replaced with two Sparco Evo II Red Race
Seats, while a hand-built roll cage powder coated white to match the wheels
shows that this car means business.
A
panoramic roof with a vinyl pushback top rounds out the styling changes. Kia didn’t
say whether the Forte Koup Mud Bogger features more power, but that should go
without saying given that it’s a car destined for off-road racing.
