Mercedes-Benz Actros 2651


Malagrine Newly introduced, the Mercedes-Benz Actros 2651 6×4 is equipped with a 510 hp engine, the most powerful brand manufactured in Brazil. The brothers of the line, 2646 6×4 and 6×2 received 2546 update of design and technology. The brand decided to improve the line in Brazil in order to meet the driving conditions instead of producing the new generation launched in Europe.
The Actros 2651, produced in Juiz de Fora, MG, is equipped with the engine OM 460 LA 6-cylinder and 3-liter with 244 Hp/1,100 rpm and 510 kgf.m/1,900 rpm. The development involved a million kilometers of roads and 14,000 hours of testing. The equivalence of many parts with the OM 457 facilitates replacement and maintenance.

The full range consists of the Actros 4844 of 435 hp, 2546 6×2, 6×4 in 2646, both with 456 hp and 510 hp at 2651's. The family also includes the 4160 8×8 SLT, imported, intended for special operations.
