Toyota Motor Thailand
is offering the new Toyota Hilux Revo with TRD body kit for free, till 31st
December. The add-ons are said to be worth THB 48,900. The offer
is valid on select variants, including Hilux Revo Smart Cab with two-wheel
drive Prerunner truck and the four-wheel drive Double Cab version.
The TRD accessories on
the 2016 Toyota Hilux include new centre grille and bumper airdam grille
coloured in black, wheel arch claddings, a TRD branded sports-type bar and side
steps. These elements are also included in the standard 1 year or 20,000 km
warranty (whichever comes first). The rest of the features stay the same as on
the non-TRD versions of the Hilux Revo pickup. There is no change to the
suspension or powertrain systems.
The 2016 model was
launched in Thailand on May 21, 2015. It is available with a 2.7-litre VVT-i
petrol engine, and two diesel motors, a 2.4-litre and a 2.8-litre
four-cylinder diesel unit, mated to 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic
transmissions.
