BMW M6 GT3 Race Car by ROWE Racing

BMW will be taking on ROWE Racing as a factory-supported outfit that will be on the grid this year with two new M6 GT3 race cars.

The M6 GT3 replaces the SLS AMG GT3 in the German team's garage, while also replacing the older Z4 GT3 (for BMW) which had been performing well for the Bavarian manufacturer since 2010. The new racer can develop up to 585 PS and weighs just 1,300 kg, making it lighter than the McLaren 675LT.

ROWE Racing will be on heading to the Nurburgring and Spa in 2016, and will be taking part in the Blancpain GT Series season.

One of the main highlights of the 2016 season, aside from the previously mentioned Nurburgring (26.-29.05.2016) and Spa (28.-31.07.2016) classics, will probably be the legendary city circuit in Macau at the FIA GT World Cup (17.-20.11.2016).

ROWE hasn't exactly had the greatest of seasons in 2015 while running the SLS AMG GT3, which means that with the M6 GT3 there should only be room for improvement as it takes on the extremely successful McLaren 650S GT3, Bentley Continental GT3 and Audi R8 LMS.
