Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Premia Special
Edition
Maruti
Suzuki S-Cross Premia Special Edition has been launched by the India’s largest
car maker at a price tag of Rs. 8.99 lakh which is Rs.
16,000 in discount to that of the standard variant.
It
is being sold in the dealerships available in tier one cities like Bengaluru,
Hyderabad and Mumbai. The Premia special edition has
come about as Maruti Suzuki is poised to make most out of the end of the year
sales. Since arriving at Indian scenes
in August, the five-seater crossover has outsmarted main rivals Ford EcoSport,
Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano in churning out more monthly sales numbers.
Subsequently,
to claw back the lost momentum Maruti is offering such an attractive edition.
The Premia special edition is basically the second entry level Delta variant of
the DDiS200 diesel version with additional accessories. It comes with four
major added features like dual airbags, ABS, fog lamps, reverse parking assist
with a camera, a Garmin five-inch navigation system with colour display and
alloy wheels as opposed to the standard offerings like a manual AC, steel
wheels with wheel caps, basic audio system with CD player and remote. It is
retailed across the country through the exclusive Nexa dealerships just as the
standard model.
With
no mechanical changes, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Premia special edition is also
powered by the notorious Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre diesel engine that makes 90 PS
of power and 200 Nm of peak torque. The engine is couple with a five-speed
manual transmission which sends power to the front wheels. The range-topping
S-Cross model can be bought with 1.6-litre DDiS320 diesel motor producing 120 PS
power and 320 Nm of peak torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
