BMW M4 by G-Power
G-Power's
in-house developed Bi-Tronik 2 V2 remap is ready to lift BMW M4 performance to
a healthy 560 HP and 720 Nm of torque.
This
way, the Bavarian Coupe is now able to hit 100 km/h from a standing
start in just 3.8 seconds, which makes it 0.3 seconds quicker than the regular
car and just as fast as the 2016 M4 GTS, with 500 PS of its own.
The
Bi-Tronik 2 V2 ECU remap previously upped the M4's output to 520 HP back in
January and then 552 HP a couple of months ago, though neither peak power nor
torque were ever this high, which is something that reflects even during high
speed runs.
Theoretically,
by removing the car's Vmax limitation, the G-Power M4 could reach 330 km/h, which is Huracan territory.
One
would imagine that potential customers would seriously consider doing so,
because what good is tuning your car if you'll still fall short when it comes
to pushing its boundaries. If you're still not convinced that this is a
seriously monstrous machine in a straight line, make sure to see a similar one
in action taking on 700+ HP opponents.
Aside
from the software upgrades, G-Power downpipes were added to significantly
reduce the exhaust back pressure, along with an in-house titanium exhaust
system, saving 7.1 kg. Those 21" Hurricane RR forged alloys are
pretty sweet too.
While this may not sound like a gigantic upgrade on paper, it's more than
obvious that the BMW M4 doesn't require too much power in order to keep up or
even beat much more "muscular" opponents when it comes to good
old-fashioned straight line action.
