BMW Z5
By becoming a roadster, the current Z4
hoped raking wider than its predecessor. For the next generation of
its roadster, which could be renamed Z5, BMW revives the soft top. The first spy shots are already there to prove. But the most important change is
invisible, since the foundations of this drive will not be 100% Bavarian. They
will now be shared with Toyota, under an agreement signed by the two brands in
2012.
Japanese side, no question roadster: it
should lead to a sports coupe that would replace the Supra, disappeared in 2002
after four generations. With a hybrid engine under the hood and four wheel
drive. Ingredients that could also be found in the Z5, but it's not yet
certain. What is gained, however, is that the BMW discoverable will make great
efforts to combat overweight the current model, with the aim of approaching
1400 kg at entry. The six-cylinder in-line 3.0 turbo, they will still be
admitted under the long hood, to support the four-cylinder 2.0 entry.
