Benelli BX 250 Motard
The adventure motorcycle with a quarter
litre engine and a lot of torque is the new Benelli BX 250 Motard. Designed
recently by the Benelli team in China and being made there itself, the
motorcycle promises to be a lot of fun for riders in the country as we have
been waiting for something like this. Benelli BX 250 Motard is one a kind of
motorcycle which promises off-road and on-road capabilities at the same time.
The engine is a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, 4 valves unit that
churns out 25 BHP of power and a healthy 20 Nm of torque. The engine is mated
to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Benelli BX 250 Motard has a
top-speed of 130 km/h. The motorcycle weighs at 135 kgs. The tank capacity of
this motorcycle is just 9.1 litres. The chassis is the similar and seen before
Trellis unit. The suspension however seen here is are super fat 50 mm front USD
forks. The rear unit is a monoshock which is adjustable for preload. Brakes are
top-notch too with 280 mm disc at the front with two caliper and 240 mm disc at
the rear with two caliper pistons.
