Fiat Tipo Hatchback
Less camouflage on a pair of
Fiat Tipo hatchback testers reveal for the first time the rear-end design of
the upcoming compact model.
The wait is almost over as the hatchback
version of the Fiat Tipo is expected to be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show.
We can
clearly see the rear end of the model, revealing the shape of the taillights,
with the rest of the car remaining practically unchanged compared to the Tipo
sedan.
The Tipo Hatchback will offer the same design and
tech features with its sedan sibling, including the company’s Uconnect
infotainment system. The engine range is again
the same with the sedan’s, offering two diesel engines (94 hp-1.3 liter and
118 hp-1.6 liter) and two petrol engines (94 hp-1.4 liter and 108 hp-1.6 liter). Whether Fiat
decides to throw some of its turbocharged petrol engines under the bonnet
remains to be seen.
The new Tipo Hatchback will
be more affordable than other models in its segment, with Fiat wanting to offer
more value for money instead of chasing a class-leading position.
