2016 Jaguar XJ (India)
Jaguar Land Rover has launched its
updated flagship luxury sedan the XJ in India at a starting price of Rs. 98.03
lakhs. The update sees refreshed styling touches inside-out
and a more luxuriously appointed cabin.
The 2016 Jaguar XJ gets full LED
headlights and unique double ‘J-Blade signature’ daytime running lights. The
new headlights are the main attraction of this new model and produce a light
with colour temperature closer to natural daylight, in which objects can be
better recognized, helping increase comfort and safety during night driving. At
the rear, updates continue with elliptical tailpipes, a revised bumper design
and new tail lights incorporating LED technology. The 2016 Jaguar XJ is powered
by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that develops 237 BHP of max power and 340 Nm of
torque, while an uprated 3.0-litre diesel develops 296 BHP of max power and
700 Nm of max torque.
On the insides, the car gets new high
definition TFT displays at the front and rear which display various
infotainment and vehicle information, while you sit at the back getting
massaged by the heated massaging seats with 5 different modes and listen to the
825 Watt high end Meridian surround sound system. The car comes with adaptive
suspension and ASPC technology to improve traction on bad surfaces at low
speeds. Customers can choose from 8 colour options namely Polaris White,
Rhodium Silver, Ammonite Grey, Dark Sapphire, Odyssey Red, Aurora Red, British
Racing Green and Ultimate Black.
