2016 Mitsubishi Fuso Canter
On March 8, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and
Bus Corporation (MFTBC) announced that it will soon release the 2016 version of
the Canter compact truck, which offers the top fuel efficiency in Japan.
For the 2016 model, Mitsubishi Fuso has
further enhanced the Canter’s 4P10 engine, which is already renowned for its
exceptional fuel efficiency, to offer the best fuel standards in all of Japan.
It cleared the 2015 heavy-duty vehicle fuel efficiency standards by 10% for all
models with a maximum loading capacity of less than 3 tons with idling stop and
start (ISS) system. All other models cleared the 2015 fuel efficiency standards
for heavy-duty vehicles by 5%.
Moreover, the interior design offers
enhanced elegance with a relaxed black and silver color tone throughout the
cockpit.
The TRG-FEA50B21SU07 model equipped with
4P10 (T2) 130ps engine, six-speed Duonic 2.0 transmission, idling stop and
start function, and chassis with start and cab, is priced at 4,299,480 yen. Mitsubishi Fuso will announce details on
the 2016 Canter upon its release.
