2016 Nissan Altima


The U.S.-spec 2016 Nissan Altima facelift has made its auto show debut at the 2015 Miami International Auto Show (MIAS).


Nissan says that the facelifted 2016 Nissan Altima is the “most extensive mid-cycle product makeover in the company’s history.” The 2016 Altima is offered in a total of seven trim levels, including the new sporty ‘SR’ grade.

The 2016 Nissan Altima is powered by a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 182 hp and 244 Nm of torque. Another engine is the 3.5-liter V6 unit generating 270 hp and 340 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to the Xtronic transmission featuring third generation D-Step logic. The 2.5-liter engine returns 27 mpg city and the 3.5-liter engine returns 22 mpg city. The safety system available in the 2016 Altima include Predictive Forward Collision Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Forward Emergency Braking (FEB), Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
