Audi
RS3 by ABT
ABT
revealed their take on the Audi RS3 which will debut at the upcoming Essen
Motor Show.
The
ABT RS3 450 now offers 443 hp and 550 Nm of torque thanks to a
specially developed ABT engine control unit, a larger intercooler and an
optional exhaust with four tail pipes, measuring 102 mm in diameter.
ABT
has chosen a matt red paint with pearlescent finish, a black panel on the rear
hatch and carbon-look details for their ‘Individual’ show car. The ride height
was dropped by 30 mm front and 25 mm rear thanks to new springs while a set of
19-inch forged wheels wrapped in 235/35 Continentals complete the exterior
changes.
The
cabin of ABT’s Audi RS3 is now choked in black Alcantara, from the dashboard to
the door panels, with the seats dressed in leather. Special ABT-badged silver
trim runs across the interior.
The
tuner didn’t share any info on the performance gains though, and that makes it
a bit difficult for us to compare who has done a better job in turning the Audi
RS3 into a proper supercar-killing machine between them and the folks over at
MTM.
