Buick Avista Convertible Concept
GM's study that had everyone talking
about it in Detroit, the Buick Avista, is back with a chopped roof, courtesy of
rendering artist Theophilus Chin.
While Buick wasn't too keen on
disclosing any plans on the Avista, a production version of the elegant concept
is plausible, as it shares an identical wheelbase length to the new-gen Chevy
Camaro, pointing to the use of GM's RWD Alpha platform that also underpins the
Cadillac ATS and CTS.
If a coupe were to be made, then a
convertible version would almost surely follow, but let's not get ahead of
ourselves.
