Ford Edge Vignale
Ford’s big push of
its new Edge Vignale is a response to the vast majority of its larger models
being ordered in top-spec Titanium trims as offering a more expensive,
exclusive and luxurious spec will give increased profit potential.
Interior features include
Hexagonal-quilted Windsor leather trim with tuxedo-style stitching for the
seats and door interiors, offered in light Cashmere or dark Ebony colours; and
Ebony leather trim for the central armrest and storage console as well as for
the instrument panel which features a woven aluminum applique on the passenger
side.
When we see under the hood we got an
advanced 2.0 TDCi engine with two power options: 180 PS and 210 PS Bi-Turbo.
Both variants incorporate the latest technology to maximize performance, torque
and economy, whilst lowering emissions. The engine with 180 PS and 400 Nm of
torque returns 44.1 mpg and a lower CO2 emission of 149 g/km. The 210 PS and
450 Nm of torque motor gives a mileage of 44.1 mpg and 149 g/km CO2 emission. The
Bi-Turbo engine features two turbochargers and offers enhanced performance and
efficiency.
A Rear Inflatable Seatbelt is helpful In
the event of an impact, the belts inflate and spread the crash forces over a
five times larger area of the body than conventional seat belts” according to
ford. Ford SYNC 2 lets you stay connected and control your phone, music,
navigation system and climate control with intuitive voice commands and it has
the 8”colour touch screen. You can even call up a list of local restaurants
just by saying “I’m hungry”, or access the Michelin Guide to help you choose
and book places to eat, along with hotels. These little tricks make it more
luxurious.
