Haval H2

The smallest car in the Haval range, the Haval H2, was showcased at 2015 Shanghai Auto Show; it made its debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.

The face of the compact SUV is dominated by the large grille finished in shiny chrome flanked by sleek headlights. The lower portion features round fog lamps ensconced in a black housing, below which sits the LED DRLs. The rear gets a tailgate spoiler, skid plate and dual exhausts. The SUV has compact dimensions of 4,330 mm, 1,815 mm and 1,700 mm in length, width and height respectively.

The cabin gets the piano-lacquer finish with the infotainment system displayed prominently on top, three-spoke multi-function steering wheel having controls for the audio, Bluetooth and cruise control functions, and chrome accents being used liberally to up the style quotient.

The Haval H2 comes with two engine options, a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a naturally-aspirated 1.5-liter four cylinder engine. The former has output of 150 hp and 210 Nm while the latter gives out 105 hp and 138 Nm. Both engines can be coupled to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.
