2016 Dodge Dart
The 2016 MY Dodge Dart has received a simplified lineup. Down to just three trim levels from the
previous five, the cheapest version of all is the SXT Sport, which costs US$ 17,995, meaning US$ 1,400 less over the current SXT variant.
Some of the features
found on it include remote keyless entry, air conditioning, cruise control,
Sirius Satellite Radio with one-year free subscription, Uconnect AM/FM/CD and
USB port.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter Tigershark
MultiAir2 engine, producing 160 HP and 148 pound-feet (201 Nm) of
torque, connected to a six-speed manual transmission or an optional Powertech
six-speed auto. EPA fuel economy is up to 8.1 L/100 km on the
highway. This version can be ordered with optional Chrome Package, Rallye
Package or Blacktop Package.
Next in the lineup is the Dodge Dart Turbo,
which starts at US$ 19,495 and comes with standard equipment such as a sport
appearance hood, dual exhaust, 17-inch Granite Crystal aluminum wheels and
Rallye appearance package that includes black headlamp bezels and black
crosshair grille. Under the hood it carries a 1.4-liter turbo I-4, with 160 HP and 250 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual
transmission. The EPA fuel rating on the highway is 5.7 L/100 km.
The range-topper GT Sport is priced from US$ 20,995, meaning US$ 1,100 less than the GTit replaces. It packs keyless entry and
go, 10-way power driver's seat, Uconnect 8.4 AM/FM/MP3 with 8.4-inch
touchscreen display, 7-inch digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate
control, rearview camera, SiriusXM radio and tire-pressure monitor. Power comes
from a 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder with 184 HP.
