Brabus Rocket 900


Packing 900 PS and a 1,500 Nm of torque, the Brabus Rocket 900 can make a strong case for being on top of the V12-powered luxury saloon market.

Even though Brabus came out with the Rocket 900 last year, they've just recently announced pricing and have released a new batch of images portraying the car they're currently exhibiting at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.


This particular car is almost identical to the first one they showed off last year, except for the interior which has a more conventional look (if you could say that about a Maybach). The German tuner went with an all-leather cabin, using a bold brown tone, which in turn demanded a mixture of strong yet supple leather.

The headliner, as well as the A, B and C-pillars are all covered with brown Alcantara to match the color scheme. Other materials include high-gloss piano lacquer wood inlays, which blend in with the brown cabin creating a single, more unified look - as opposed to other Maybach interiors that Brabus are capable of dressing up. The 21" wheels are new as well on this car, specifically those with the unified 9-spoke design, which was chosen for Geneva.


The exterior styling kit includes a new front bumper, radiator grille and rear bumper with integrated diffuser and tailor-made cutouts for the four chrome-plated tailpipes - you or your driver can choose between operating the car in a subtle and quiet "Coming Home" mode, or put the system in "Sport" and enjoy your V12.

In terms of performance, the numbers haven't change, but that is by no means a bad thing. The Rocket 900 is still capable of hitting 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, before maxing out at 350 km/h. Though if you happen to own a Mercedes-Maybach S500 instead of the S600 (on which the Rocket 900 is based), fear not because Brabus will still extract an additional 85 PS and an extra 120 Nm of torque from your luxury limo.
