Mahindra e2o Sports
Mahindra has unveiled the Mahindra e2o
Sports edition at the Auto Expo 2016. The e2o Sport is the sporty
variant of the company’s e2o, the fully electric hatchback.
The e2o Sports
comes with an 80 kW motor that produces 105 kW of power at 12,500 rpm which,
the company says, helps the vehicle get from o to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. The
car also has a maximum range of 200 km from its fully charged 384V battery. The
company claims a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
The Mahindra e2o Sports gets a sporty
body kit that includes a front bumper lip, side skirts and a roof-mounted rear
spoiler. The 2-door hatchback also gets blackened 12-spoke alloy wheels, a
black roof, black door handles and black external rear view mirrors.
Flared wheel arches, bucket seats on the
inside, and a rear diffuser complete the e2o’s exterior package. The hatchback
measures 3,453 mm in length, 1,564 mm in width, and 1,508 mm in height and gets
a wheelbase of 2,064 mm. The car, thanks to its square steel lithium-ion
battery pack, weighs 1,189.5 kg.
