Maruti Celerio Cross
The country’s largest
passenger car manufacturer would wish to join the Cross bandwagon, Maruti
Suzuki showcased a kitted up version of the Maruti Celerio at the Auto
Expo 2016.
The Celerio Cross is powered by the same
1.0-liter petrol edition that is now matched to either a five-speed manual or a
CVT gearbox. Subtle changes include black outside rear view mirrors as opposed
to the body-coloured mirrors on offer with the regular version of the
hatchback, and contrast red inserts and stitching on the seat and steering
wheel.
The Maruti Celerio Cross will, if and
when launched, compete with the VW Polo Cross, Toyota Etios Cross etc.
