Nissan Tiida facelift
A few images of the new Nissan Tiida
facelift (Pulsar) hatchback have been revealed. The hatch will be making an
official appearance at the Beijing Auto Show, which starts on April 25.
At the front, the Tiida is updated with
Nissan’s design language, particularly with the V-motion front grille. Inside,
the Tiida’s interior is now more compact and sports more chrome accents. To add
to that, the entire dashboard and door panels looks to be wrapped in soft leather
with white stitching.
Meanwhile, there’s a push-start button
located beneath the automatic dual-zone climate controls and the touchscreen
headunit looks simpler, with less buttons to it. The instrument cluster is of a
black and white design, while there’s now a colour display that sits in between
the speedometers. Furthermore, the new Tiida appears to be getting blind spot
warning (BSW) as well.
Based on reports from China, the local
version of the Tiida will be equipped with a 1.6 litre naturally-aspirated
engine that’s capable of 126 hp, paired to a CVT transmission. A set of 1.2
litre and 1.6 litre turbocharged engines are reported to arrive later.
