Tata Safari Storme Tuff
Along with Tata Zest and Tata Hexa, the
company’s Personalization Studio unveiled a fully customized Tata Safari Storme
Tuff at the Auto Expo 2016.
The exterior has been thoroughly
customized to tackle tough terrain. It features metal front, rear bumper,
all-weather tent on the roof, a high lift jack, LED bar on the roof, and a
winch mounted on the front. Since the ground clearance has been raised, the
side profile has stylized steps to ensure easy ingress and egress as well as crawl
over rocks.
Inside, the Safari Storme Tuff is fitted
with head-up display unit with tyre pressure monitoring system and navigation,
while the seat covers are water resistant.
Under the hood is a 2.2-liter VARICOR
400 diesel engine capable of delivering 156 PS at 4,000 rpm with a maximum
torque of 400 Nm at 1,700-2,700 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual
transmission gear box as standard.
