VW Golf SportWagon Limited Edition
The Golf's US range has just been
expanded with a new trim level, the SportWagon Limited Edition, which slots
between the S and SE models.
Exterior enhancements over the
"S" include "Limited" badges on the front fenders, 17-inch
alloys, chrome window trim and a panoramic sunroof.
Standard standard driver assistance
features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward
Collision Warning and Blind Spot Monitor, while the interior comes with
leatherette seating upholstery, heated front seats and keyless access with
push-button start.
Volkswagen has also added the new MIB II
infotainment system, which offers USB and VW-Car Net App-Connect, with Apple
CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink compatibility, allowing users to access
select apps from their smartphones through the vehicle's head unit.
The Golf SportWagon Limited Edition uses
a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-pot producing 170 HP and 270
Nm mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is EPA-rated at
35 mpg.
Priced from US$ 24,995, the Limited Edition
will be available at VW dealerships starting later this month.
