2016 Honda MSX125SF by HRC

Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) is a division of the Honda Motor Company formed in 1982. The company combines participation in motorcycle races throughout the world with the development of high potential racing machines. They have now gone and worked their magic on the humble MSX125SF or the Grom.

HRC has gone to work on a mini-bike in preparation for an HRC Trophy racing series. The racing Grom was seen in public for the first time at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in Japan.

The heavily-tuned four-stroke, single-cylinder 124cc motor has been completely reworked by HRC and gets two-stage fuel mapping, a quick shifter, pit lane speed limited and an all-new exhaust system too. They will be sold as race bikes and will be standard for everyone taking part in the racing series which will be held in Japan.

HRC has service shops at 23 locations in Japan and seven sites overseas. These shops offer extensive user support, ranging from the supply of kit parts, to troubleshooting and the provision of advice on machine settings. They also provide HRC with a valuable interface from which to gauge the expectations and aspirations of users and motorcycle sports fans.
