2016 Roush F-150 SC
Roush has never shied away from giving a
vehicle a healthy amount of power, and the 2016 Roush F-150 SC definitely got
its serving of Wheaties. Starting with an already potent 5.0L V-8 Ford F-150
the team at Roush added a R2300 Twin Vortices Series (TVS) supercharger giving
this truck 600 hp and 557 lb-ft of torque.
The Roush TVS 2300 supercharger give
this pickup an additional 215 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque over the stock power
numbers, giving you a seat-of-the pants experience you might only find in atrophy
truck or a V-8–powered riding mower. Performance and adrenaline-filled driving
is in Roush’s blood, and they know it.
With the power aspect of the truck taken
care of, Roush turned their attention to improving the suspension for off-road
performance. A Roush/Fox 2.0 Performance Series Suspension system was added,
which includes front Fox coilovers and rear Fox Shocks, helping this F-150 work
as well off-road as the famous and desirable Raptor. Street tires weren’t
getting put on this truck, with all that power and suspension it begs to be
taken to the dirt, so a set of Mickey Thompson Baja ATZP3 all-terrains wrapped
around 20-inch Roush wheels were added.
When it comes to customizing any vehicle
performance is important, but so is appearance and Roush didn’t leave the Ford
alone there either. With an upgraded grille, fender flares, graphics package,
and classy side-exit exhaust this truck won’t be hard to miss when it’s sitting
at a stoplight. With all that power good luck catching all the details while
it’s rolling.’
If you’ve got to have one of these bad
boys, good news: you can get them at Roush performance dealers and at
