2017 Dacia/Renault Duster
Although still handle the issue well in
secret, Renault let out new details about the next generation of Duster during
conference at the Geneva Motor Show. Speaking to the press at the event, the
design chief Laurens van den Acker ensured that the news will be released next
year and that the look should surprise even the most critical. The executive,
it is worth remembering, is responsible for implementing the new cosmetic brand
identity in releases like Mégane and Scénic.
One of the major changes of the new
generation will be the new size of the model. As anticipates the Romanian site
Ziarul Financiar, the Duster will be sold in 2017 with two body options, the
version with long, offer space for up to seven seats. Thus, the five seats body
will measure somewhere around 4.3 meters long while the longest model will
reach 4.5 meters. The platform will be a simplified version of the modular base
CMF.
Inside, improvements are expected in the
question ergonomics and space utilization, and greater supply equipment (speech
in digital air and a unique multimedia system). The range of diesel and
gasoline engines should not undergo changes.
