Blacktrack BT-01
Countless neo-retro preparations causing
the heyday of customs bike builders, workshops little more or less talented
independent manufacturers that make the success of the vintage wave that the
wind does not seems to be over. Newcomer of the genre, the Blacktrack BT-01, a
motorcycle developed by Sacha Lakic. If that name means nothing to you, we need
to pencil stroke of the designer lines of Voxan Black Magic, Charade and other
Roadster, but also those of the Bimota Mantra and electrical Voxan Wattman, among
others ... In short the boy has a serious background in motorcycle.
For Blacktrack, Sacha Lakic started from
an engine Honda CX 500. The famous twin front in V developing 50 hp and
released to the market in 1978 which has kept many fans, as much for its aspect
as for its vibrant torque . The Blacktrack is a compact cafe racer built around
the engine block widely highlighted on the BT-01.
Around the V twin, the Blacktrack BT-01
has an enhancing equipment. Note that the bike will be available in two versions,
respectively named BT-01R (Race Edition) and BT-01S (Sport Edition).
Thus, it is Sport Edition with a fork

43. For the rest, the Blacktrack has an exhaust tailored to petal brake discs,
radial calipers Nissin four-piston and Dunlop tires Mutant from the middle of
the Supermoto.
Let the sore subject, the price. The
Blactrack BT-01 is announced at a price of € 35,000 Sport Edition version. But
it will cost a whopping € 50,000 for the Race Edition model! long we could go
on about the justification of such a tariff, arguing that if the spirit of neo
retro breath Blacktrack the course is to forget that what made the success of
these machines in the 1970s, it was precisely affordability. Everything from
yesterday became inaccessible today.
At Blacktrack was already expected to
limit production of the BT-01 to 25 machines, of which only 5 Racing Edition.
One way to be realistic, or to create scarcity to the attention of wealthy buyers?
