Ford Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Focus RS And Mustang Specials 50th Le Mans Anniversary

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the GT40’s historic 1-2-3 sweep of the 24h of Le Mans race in 1966, Ford released a limited series of its sportiest models in France. These include the Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Focus RS and Mustang coupe, each of which will be produced in 50 units exclusively for France.

All 50th Anniversary models are distinguished by their Black Mica paint with gray racing stripes in tribute to the GT40 MKII driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon in the 1966 race. It would have been great if Ford also included GT40-like bronze wheels in the package, but they stuck to the stock colored rims.

Aside from the exterior colors and a numbered plaque inside, all models get additional packages as standard, with the Fiesta ST gaining the Performance and Parking packs with 17-inch rims, the Focus ST the Styling Pack with 18-inch wheels, the Focus RS with the City and Premium packs, and the Mustang, the Premium Pack that includes 19-inch wheels and leather seats, among other features.

Prices in France range from € 27,200 for the Fiesta ST “50” to € 47,100 for the Mustang GT V8 “50” (US$ 30,500 to US$ 52,500), with one lucky owner to win a trip to this year’s 24h of Le Mans race after a draw that will take place next month.
