Gibbs Biski
Take a big scooter on one side and a jet
ski to the other, then combine them! You get the Biski, an amphibious
two-wheelers developed by Alan Gibbs, as comfortable on the road with its
engine of 55 horses at the water surface where it can move at the maximum speed
of 60 km/h. This is fun!
Alan Gibbs chose Florida and the
American Motorcycle International Expo to present his latest invention, The
Biski. It is fitting, his motorbike seems indeed as at ease on asphalt in the
canal systems of the American Southeast. Perfectly playful, the Biski is a
hybrid vehicle, part scooter, part jet-ski.
On the road, with its twin
55-horsepower engine is certified to carry two people and is able to offer a
good approval to legal speeds, says its manufacturer. Then a simple flick of a
button, spent five seconds before the train freezes and the rear wheel of the
maxi-scooter back inside the fairing. The motorbikes will go into
hydro-powered, so James Bond, and operates in the water at the maximum speed of
60 km/h. Biski weighs 228 kg, 9 kg more than a Yamaha TMAX 530 in 2015.
