Honda 300 TT Cafe Racer Concept
At the 2016 Bangkok International Motor
Show, Honda Thailand is presenting a cafe racer concept based on its 300-series
platform, the 300 TT Racer.
Honda 300 TT Cafe Racer concept embodies
the spirit of a Neo-Retro Racer, a style that’s fuelling conversations these
days. Another example is the Honda Concept CB Type II shown in Japan last year.
Honda 300 TT Racer Concept uses a basic
frame and 286cc engine used in CBR300R and CB300F, and then deviates to build
it’s individual style on a completely new subframe that balances a solo seat.
Low-mounted cafe racer-style handlebars
warrants a forward-leaning riding position supported by a lower placed and
flatter tank. Honda 300 TT Racer Concept sports a new exhaust, LED headlight,
upside-down fork, radial-mount front brake calipers and a range of carbon fibre
components.
There is no news on whether Honda enter
this bike into production or not. Officials maintained that the concept will displayed to gauge customer interest, depending on which a decision will be
taken on whether to launch this product in the future or not.
