Making the 2016 Honda Civic that you can
buy hotter has made the Civic that goes racing even hotter. The result is this
Civic Red Bull Global Rallycross racecar.
Announced in May 21
debut at a race in Phoenix, the Civic GRC is another stunning Honda racing
development. Olsbergs MSE and Honda Performance Division teamed to produce a
car that's claimed to boast more than 600 horsepower and go from 0 to 60 mph in
1.9 seconds.
"We won't encourage our customers
to take 70-foot jumps out on the street, but we will use this platform to tell
people about all the incredible technology and performance capabilities of our
new Civic Coupe," American Honda National Advertising Manager Nick Lee
said in the release.
