LEMev Stream
The electric scooter is far from
Eldorado not predicted some analysts in the 2000s Yet year after year,
technology advances and makes the concept more relevant facing the heat engine
models. Convinced of its commercial potential, three European companies have
partnered to manufacture their own electric mobility solution suburban areas.
This is Luma, the first anti-theft
systems manufacturer in Europe, Inmotec, a specialist in embedded electronics
in MotoGP and Dhemen, an industrial design firm. Together, they developed the
Stream, an electric scooter GT assimilated 125 cc which offers 80 km of
autonomy. Marketed under the brand LEMev, it is made entirely in the Spanish
Basque Country.
With its cycle part and specially
tailored equipment level, the LEMev Stream claim to belong to the family of GT
scooters. But that's beside engine that displays his best arguments. Shooting
down the 0 to 80 km/h in six seconds, it reaches a top speed of 105 km/h.
His near-constant torque of 100 Nm ensures strong acceleration and times.
Brushless motor to power the energy, the
triad has opted for a non-removable battery LiFePO4 4 kWh. Announced for 2000
charging cycles, it offers a design life of 160,000 km. In typical use (20 to
50 kilometers a day), the electric scooter has good years ahead of him. This is
even more true that is covered by a 2 year warranty.
Latest strengths of LEMev Stream are
also the electronic order. We think including regenerative braking, which
allows reusing the energy of deceleration. Or "Boost" mode, which
releases 22 hp engine and forget the weight of 196 kg (at the expense of battery
life). The model is distributed in France by the company Workelec Bordeaux,
which displays the rate of € 6990.
