Maruti Baleno Zeta Petrol Automatic
Maruti Suzuki Baleno has garnered quite
an interest among customers since it has been launched in October, last year.
Now to add on the appeal Maruti Suzuki has introduced an automatic gearbox to
the Baleno Zeta trim at a price of Rs. 747,701 (ex showroom, Delhi).
Until now, Baleno automatic was offered
only in the Delta trim with petrol engine. But in that case customers had to
compromise with the features, as the automatic variant use to come with lesser
features. Now with the inclusion of the automatic gearbox to the upper end Zeta
trim customers won’t have to compromise on the features.
Moreover the
Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) will also save the customers from the
hassle of constantly pressing clutch pedal and gear changing in congested city
traffic.
Maruti Suzuki sells the Baleno premium
hatchback through their premium car selling chain NEXA. It is also the second
best selling model in the segment. Made in India only, this car is being exported
to more than 100 countries across the world. Since the launch Maruti Suzuki has
sold more than 44,000 units of the Baleno through the NEXA, and there are 55,000
more bookings to be served. It was the first car by the Indo Japanese automaker
exported to Japan, Suzuki’s home country.
So, what do the Zeta trim gets on the
features front? Along with the existing features of the Delta trim, it gets
automatic headlamps, fog lamps, chrome garnished door handles, alloy wheels at
the exterior. Inside the cabin, the car gets push Start / Stop button, glove
box illumination, luggage space illumination, UV cut glass, foot well
illumination at the front compartment, multi information displaying colour TFT
