Mercedes-Benz C 43 AMG (UK)
Mercedes UK announced pricing for the
C43 AMG and the addition of new AWD models in the range. The sedan version of
the turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 model is priced from £44,460 with the Estate
model asking from £ 45,660 and the Coupe £ 46,280.
With 367 hp on tap, the sedan and coupe
C43s can accelerate from zero to 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds with the
estate completing the same procedure in 4.9 seconds. All versions are mated
exclusively to the company’s nine-speed automatic gearbox which offers
shortened shift times to match the sporty character of the model while power is
sent to all four wheels.
Customers also get -for the first time
in the UK- the option of the 4Matic AWD in other versions of the C-Class,
including the C 200 Coupe, the C 220d and C 250d.
The added traction and practicality of
the 4Matic is priced at £ 1,500 over their rear-wheel drive equivalents, meaning
the C 220d Sport 4Matic start at £ 36,025 with the Estate version asking for
£ 37,225.
