Suzuki Swift Sport

The Suzuki Swift Sport has
gone on sale on the Colombian market for a price of 76,990,000 Colombian Pesos.
The performance-oriented
Swift is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder 16-valve VVT engine capable of
134 hp at 6,900 rpm and 160 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm, paired to a 6-speed
manual transmission. This enables the hatchback to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 8.7
seconds and gives it a top-speed of 193 km/h.
The Swift Sport is available
in Colombia in the 5-door trim only. It rides on 195/45 17-inch alloy wheels
and is shod with disc brakes at the front and rear. Additional safety features
include ABS, EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system, ESP and 6 airbags.
An integrated Bluetooth
music system with steering-mounted controls, HID headlights with headlight
washers, automatic headlights, electrically-adjustable and folding wing
mirrors, automatic climate control and keyless entry system with an engine
starter button are among the other features to be found on the hatchback.
However, it should be noted
that Suzuki is gearing up to introduce the next generation Swift, with reports
claiming an unveil towards the end of this year. Early images of the next-gen
Swift Sport have emerged on the internet, suggesting an evolutionary styling
for the performance hatch.
