1990 Porsche 964 by Singer Vehicle
Design
Singer Vehicle Design will be present at
this year’s Festival of Speed, joining the ranks of the Michelin Supercar
Paddock with their latest UK creation.
Nicknamed ‘Newcastle’ out of its
geographical home, this RHD 1990 Porsche 964 was painstakingly restored up to
Singer standards of perfection and is scheduled for a drive up the hill with
Chris Harris behind the wheel.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre
flat six engine, this 911 makes close to 390 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque which are
good enough for a 0-96 km/h in sub 3.3 seconds and 0-160 km/h in 8.2
seconds. These are some breathtaking acceleration figures.
Finished in Singer Racing White with
ghosted light blue stripes and blue lettering, the ‘Newcastle’ car looks just
stunning. The cabin is a mix of the finest suede and leather in Deep Royal Blue
with piano black trim on selected areas, an orange tachometer and the always
beautiful Momo Prototipo steering wheel.
