2016 Honda Civic (Indonesia)
The tenth generation 2016
Honda Civic has been launched in Indonesia at the 2016 Indonesia International
Motor Show (2016 IIMS).
The 2016 Honda Civic sedan will be available in
Indonesia only in ES trim level and that too only with a single engine – 1.5L VTEC
TURBO, for Rp 475,000,000. Five colour choices are available:
Crystal Black Pearl, Cosmic Blue Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Lunar Silver
Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.
While a 1.8-litre i-VTEC
engine producing 141 hp and 174 Nm of torque is also available in Thailand, the
2016 Civic remains a premium product in Indonesia being exclusively offered
with the more powerful 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 173
PS and 220 Nm of torque. Needless to say, a continuously variable
transmission developed under the Earth Dreams Technology is standard and the
only transmission available.
Noteworthy features of the
2016 Honda Civic include full LED headlights with LED daytime running lights,
rain sensing windshield wipers, cruise control, 8-way electrically adjustable
seats, 7-inch infotainment system with satellite navigation, 6 airbags,
Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Brake Hold function, VSA (Vehicle Stability
Assist), HSA (Hill Stability Assist), ABS + EBD and Brake Override System.
For those looking for
additional styling, Honda is even offering the Modulo accessories as a part of
the Sport package and Sporty+ package. The Sporty package includes front under
spoiler, foglight garnish, side skirts, fender garnish, door mirror garnish,
illuminated door sills and rear under spoiler. The Sport+ package adds decklid
spoiler as well.
