2016 Toyota Prius (Brazil)
The new Toyota Prius has a suggested
price of R$ 119,950, the amount was R$ 3,050 more into account than our
estimate published yesterday. The model sales begin at June 8. The new
generation of hybrid comes with visual news, new mechanical platform.
The model is equipped with a 1.8 engine
yields combustion yielding 98 cv power and torque 14,2 kgfm. But the electric
thruster has 72 cv power and torque 16,6 kgfm. Combined reach maximum power of
123 horsepower. The exchange is automatic CVT type with lever joystic type.
The propellant received three notes in
the Brazilian Labeling Program Vehicle (PBEV) 2016: the overall ranking in the
category "Medium" and emissions ranking.
In terms of security the hybrid is
equipped with disc brakes on all four brakes with ABS system and seven airbags
(dual front, side double, two curtain aribags and an airbag for the driver's
knee).
