2017 Mazda CX-3

As the CX-3 subcompact crossover enters its second model year in the US, the Japanese automaker made sure the base price stayed the same at US$ 19,960 MSRP, while adding better value to the range.

The 18" alloys have been brought down from the Grand Touring spec models and are now available for CX-3 Touring models, whereas the i-ACTIVSENSE safety pack now costs just US$ 1,170 compared to last year when customers had to set aside US$ 1,920 for it.

All CX-3 versions are equipped with Mazda's 146 HP SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter petrol engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission featuring a 'Sport' mode.

Base spec CX-3 Sport models come with 16" alloys, power mirrors, cloth seats, 7" touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, USB, keyless entry, push-button start, power door locks, 6-speaker audio system and air conditioning. The CX-3 Touring on the other hand comes with the previously mentioned 18" alloys, heated door mirrors, leatherette and cloth seating surfaces, heated front seats, leather-wrapped shift knob & steering wheel, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

Customers interested in the Touring Premium Package (US$ 1,410) will receive a BOSE 7-speaker audio system , power moonroof, satellite radio, HD radio and a cargo cover.

Top-spec CX-3 Grand Touring versions add leather and Lux Suede seats, LED headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting System, LED fog lights, sat-nav, automatic climate control, paddle shifters and a head-up display.

The 2017 Mazda CX-3 will arrive in US showrooms in early July.
