Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster
The tailor-made Vantage GT12 Roadster is
Aston Martin's most extreme open-top model ever thanks to its naturally
aspirated 600 PS V12 and track-oriented chassis setup.
It was conceived and delivered by 'Q by Aston
Martin' over a nine month period and draws its origins from the Vantage GT12
Coupe version, adding the thrill of open-top driving and of course better
access to the 6.0-liter V12's soundtrack.
Just like the Coupe, the Roadster
features bespoke paint and trim, magnesium inlet manifolds with revised
geometry, a lightweight magnesium torque tube, a full titanium exhaust system,
carbon fiber body panels and an in-house developed suspension set-up.
One of the reasons that makes the
Vantage GT12 Roadster such an important car is the fact that this marks the
first time a customer has been able to call upon the 'Q by Aston Martin'
bespoke commission service to its full extent - which was previously only
offered as a means to provide personalized color and trim combinations to
customers.
Now that the service has been expanded,
customers can order highly ambitious designs and even unique engineering
projects. commissioned.
The service has now also incorporated
Aston Martin Advanced Operations, who is directly responsible for the
previously mentioned low volume projects (0ne-77, Taraf, Vulcan, GT12 Coupe).
