Jeep Renegade Hell’s Revenge
Based on FCA's Small Wide 4x4 platform,
shared with the Fiat 500X and L, the Renegade isn’t the most rugged Jeep of the
bunch. This one, however, comes with a pinch of badassery.
As the main sponsor at the 25th
anniversary of the iconic Harley-Davidson event held in Portoroz, Slovenia,
Jeep partnered with the fabled motorcycle maker and commissioned Garage Italia
Customs to come up with this unique Renegade that symbolizes the two firm’s
continuous partnership.
Christened the “Hell’s Revenge”, this
model is a tribute to Harley owners and to all bikers who share the same values
and lifestyle. According to Jeep, it also confirms the strong affinities
between the brands.
FCA’s long-term partner and customizer,
Garage Italia Customs, has identified flames as the key personalization element
that represents the main value in both Harley and Jeep’s world: Passion. Truth
be told, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a car scribbled in flames, but the
end result suits the subcompact Jeep quite well.
Four layers of a matte paint base
fluorescent flames were applied on the vehicle’s body, all protected by a
special transparent layer of dye. The intense color scheme was implemented as a
way to recall the particular airbrushing technique used on motorcycle tanks.
The same motif can be found at the
interior as well, thanks to the special painting of the dashboard, while the
seats come in Foglizzo Nappa leather and black denim, further emphasizing the
world custom made motorcycles.
But a Jeep isn’t a Jeep without its go
everywhere abilities, that’s why the Renegade was further enhanced with special
technical equipment including a personalized skid plate, a suspension lift kit
and special alloy rims combined with modified BF Goodrich tires. Completing the
look are two LED spotlights on the windscreen, and Harley Davidson logos.
