notch.
Case in point, this gorgeously crafted
and customized 911 Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition. As one of the world’s
most famous endurance races is currently in progress, Porsche reckoned it was
the right occasion to celebrate its history, heritage and a long list of
accolades at the 24 Hours of Le Mans event with a very special vehicle.
Based on the turbocharged, 3.0-litre
flat-six Carrera S, which boasts 414 hp and 500 Nm of torque, the
German car manufacturer presented a holistic concept that combines Porsche’s
Exclusive and Motorsport expertize into one extraordinary package.
Modeled to resemble the LMP1 919 Hybrid,
the Carrera S Endurance Racing Edition comes with an intricate livery (making
use of the words “Porsche Intelligent Performance”), and governed by racing
cues throughout its exterior, interior, and under the skin.
The cabin reveals the Sport Chrono
package along with a marked steering wheel and other subtle touches, while the
exterior benefits from a twin sports exhaust system, 20-inch Carrera S wheels,
dynamic LED headlights and an electric sliding sunroof.
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control with
rear wheel steering makes sure the car stays planted on the bends, providing
someone is willing to hoon this exclusive variant.
