2017 Hyundai i30
The Hyundai i30 is currently
in its second generation. The second generation i30 was introduced at the 2011
Frankfurt Motor Show and given a facelift in December 2014.
As development of the
next-gen Hyundai i30 continues globally, a test mule has been spied in China
revealing some exterior and interior details. The 2017 Hyundai i30 appears to
have headlamps, hexagonal grille, foglamps and door mirrors similar to those of
the 2016 Hyundai Elantra. Inside, the all-new i30 seems to have black-white
two-tone upholstery, chrome or aluminium trim on the door handles and rear HVAC
vents.
The 2017 Hyundai i30 is
likely to be offered with a variety of petrol and diesel engines with
displacements ranging from 1.0- to 1.8-litre. Two of the petrol engines will
likely be the 1.0-litre T-GDI turbocharged three-cylinder and 1.4-litre T-GDI
turbocharged four-cylinder units. Transmission choices will likely include
6-speed manual transmission, 6-speed automatic transmission and 7-speed
EcoShift dual-clutch transmission.
The third generation 2017
Hyundai i30 could debut at the Paris Motor Show this year and go on sale in
Europe by early-2017.
