2017 Vauxhall Zafira Tourer & Mokka X Facelifts (UK)

Vauxhall has announced that both their new Zafira Tourer and Mokka X models will hit UK showrooms in October, with prices starting from £ 18,615 for the MPV and £ 17,590 for the small crossover.

The restyled Zafira Tourer was presented at the end of last month when Vauxhall emphasized its new exterior styling and spacious interior, as well as its excellent in-car connectivity features. In the UK, the Zafira Tourer range includes Design, Energy, SRi, SRi Nav, SE, Tech Line, Elite and Elite Nav trim levels.

The £ 18,615 price tag is for the 1.4i 140 PS turbocharged version in Design trim, available with the IntelliLink system and a 7" display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. OnStar is standard across the entire range and this base model comes with digital radio, cruise control, LED daytime running lights, 17" alloys and parking sensors front and rear.

Customers can choose between two engines, the 1.4i 140 PS Turbo or the 2.0 CDTi 170 PS, with either a manual or an automatic transmission. The top of the range Elite Nav model boasts Vauxhall's 950 Satellite navigation system, 18" alloys, panoramic sunroof, heated leather ergonomic front sports seats, dark tinted rear windows, electronic climate control and front fog lights. The Elite Nav trim costs upwards of £2 5,445.

Unlike with the Zafira, Mokka X customers can choose between three different power units, including a new-to-range 1.4i 153 PS Turbo automatic and an equally new 1.6 CDTi 110 PS ecoFlex diesel manual. The new generation 1.4-liter 153 PS turbocharged petrol unit can accelerate the Mokka X to 96 km/h in 9.4 seconds, before maxing out at 193 km/h.

Vauxhall points out that its 3rd-best trim level for the Mokka X (Design Nav) includes 18" wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights and silver roof rails on the outside. Inside there's an 8" touch screen with IntelliLink & OnStar and price-wise customers will need to spend £ 17,590 OTR for the manual 1.6 115 PS petrol model.

In order to buy into the top spec Elite Nav model, you'll need to pay upwards of £ 22,855, for which you get a full leather interior, heated front seats and steering wheel, as well as tinted rear windows.
