Baojun 510 SUV

This is not a weird Chinese concept car. This is the crazy new Baojun 510, a new SUV that will be positioned below the Baojun 560. And where the latter looks good but boring, the 510 looks mad. Check those headlights and the bonnet.

The main light units are in the bumper. The wheel arches are straight on top. The mirrors are huge. Only bad is the D-pillar, which gets the same design as literally every new Chinese SUV. They all use the same design studio, it seems.

Power will come from a 1.5 liter four with 110 hp and 147 nm, mated to a five-speed manual, sending horses to the front wheels. Dimension size is 4220/1740/1605 mm, and wheelbase is 2550 mm.

This pretty beast is going to be cheap; price is expected to start around 65.000 yuan and end around 80.000 yuan. The name 510 name is a little confusing; the Baojun 310 and Baojun 610 are both hatchbacks, not SUVs.
