Fiat Punto Evo and Avventura PowerTech
The Fiat Punto Evo and Avventura diesel
versions now carry the new PowerTech branding which signifies the introduction
of the 93 PS 1.3-litre MultiJet engine as standard across the variant lineup. The
PowerTech models will be available in Active, Dynamic, and Emotion trims.
In addition to the more powerful diesel
engine, the Punto Evo and Avventura PowerTech models will also benefit from
standard 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system which incorporates Bluetooth,
USB, SD Card, rear view camera and navigation system (powered by Map My India).
Rest of the package continues to remain
the same. The Punto and Avventura, along with other Fiat models have been
experiencing tough times in the Indian market. Sales performances are far from
satisfactory. Fiat hopes that the added value would make its cars more
appealing to the enthusiasts.
The 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel engine
with variable geometry turbo (VGT) produces 93 PS and 200 Nm of torque. A
5-speed manual transmission propels the front wheels. The 1.2-litre and
1.4-litre FIRE petrol engines continue untouched.
